The Rainy City, Poverty Bay and Nervous Laughter were all originally published as paperback originals at Avon Books. They were later published by Ballantine Books. They are most easily and, for the author, most profitably, purchased as e-books. Support your local author.
The Rainy City was nominated for a Shamus Award from the Private Eye Writers of America. Also, nominated, was Poverty Bay, which won the award that year.
