I just wanted to let you know that I’ve read all of the Thomas Black books and have enjoyed reading them all. I’m looking forward to reading the latest.
I has saved some of my favorite books to read again when I was retired. I found them in the attic and am going through the Thomas Black books. Reading them in order without the years between is a treat but my chores are suffering. I just can’t stop. Living in Portland I am familiar with some of Seattle. That adds something special to the books. I regard these as comparable to Ross McDonald in California.
Who else did I save? Tony Hillerman and Dick Francis. I would save the books for a time when I could read straight through.
